Crossover Characters
It has occured to me, that with so many crossovers in the story, that there is a good chance you might not have seen all the shows they come from. Then there's also the question of when the story is being read, in relation to when it was written and when the shows were airing. Anything of note, you will find here.
Supernatural
Supernatural
Ah, the Winchester brothers. In my eyes, if you haven't watched Supernatural, you're missing out. It's actually quite funny and did I mention - the Winchester brothers? Yum!
Story-line wise, when Taylor first meets them, it's towards the end of season one - really early on, so there's not much in the way of spoilers for that show. Until an undetermined point in the future, Cass has yet to appear too. But I like Cass, so let's not rule that idea out (or a return appearence).
To summarise, when they're just kids, Dean and Sam's mom is killed by a demon, and their dad raises them as Hunters. Flash forward and they're on the road together killing supernatural monsters. I'll not go into too much detail - if you watch it, you know this. If you don't, well I think you should, so I don't want to give you too many spoilers.
Sam's on the left, Dean on the right.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
At this point, if you haven't seen at least one episode of this show, my only conclusion is that you've been living under a rock. I would like to think you know what the characters look like, so at this point, the mention is only so you can get an idea of where we are with the show. When Taylor and Flack head out to Vegas... well, Grissom and Catherine are still there, and Warwick isn't dead... Now you're going to ask me what season this is... Pre-season 7.
CSI: Miami
CSI: Miami
Again, as with CSI, if you've not caught at least one episode - and seriously, there was that three-part CSI crossover - well, I don't know what to say.
Appearence wise, the first time is within the show - Darius in Season 4... When Taylor heads to Miami, it's to help Speed's ghost (Season 6)

Cold Case
Cold Case
Okay, so the first person we meet is Scotty Valens - with the actual crossover in the show. (Cold Reveal - season 3), which is about Season 4 when we head over to their turf in Philadelphia.
The team are in charge of revisiting Cold Cases - cases where they never found the murderer - and through flashbacks, they usually find them. At the end of each episode, (usually) one of the main characters will see the ghost of the victim. Or at least, that is what it looks like.
Then there's the fact that Lily Rush is possibly the only female detective I ever see at a crime scene with her hair tied back!
Left to right: Lily Rush, John Stillman, Kat Miller, Nick Vera, Will Jeffries and Scotty Valens.

Numb3rs
Numb3rs
Don Eppes works at the FBI - his genius mathematical brother, Charlie, always seems to somehow help solve the case due to some mathematical equation.
In terms of story line, I think it's safe to say this crossover takes place after the end of the show. But as there are no spoilers, I don't think I need to worry.
Let's see... Characters... (Left to Right), Alan Eppes, Amita Ramanujan, Dr. Larry Fleinhardt, Charlie Eppes, Don Eppes, Megan Reeves, David Sinclair, Colby Granger.

Third Watch
Third Watch
It's not a crossover as such, but I do occasionally use the characters so I figure I should give the show a mention. It was ace! Actually, it was kinda like the NY/2000's equivelant of Chicago Fire, except it had the cops as the good guys!
Okay, to put names to faces, Left to Right: Maurice 'Bosco' Boscorelli (NYPD), Jimmy Doherty (FDNY), Kim Zambrano (NYFD), Monte 'Doc' Parker (NYFD Paramedic), John 'Sully' Sullivan (NYPD), Faith Yokas (NYPD), Ty Davis (NYPD), Alex Taylor (NYFD and NYFD Paramedic), and finally Carlos Nieto (NYFD Paramedic). Personally, I would recomend it, if you can find it.
Bosco might look familiar to you. That's because the actor that plays him popped up in CSI:NY last season - he was the rapist from the case in Jo's past. Just to clarify, if I choose to go down that line, it will not be the same person!!
